Post-Election WRENCH

This call to action is circulating on signal groups and organizing spaces. There’s also a version of it on Francesca Hong’s website WeMakeBetterPossible.com.

Milwaukee Beagle definitely supports strategizing and preparing to wrench concessions out of the state government regardless of who wins Tuesday’s election!

WRENCH

Join the Fight for an Affordable Wisconsin

Featuring keynote speaker Francesca Hong

When?
Tuesday, November 10, 5:30 PM

What?

Wisconsin Rejects Establishment Non-Action Constituent Huddles (WRENCH) is not an organization, it is an event, a gathering of organizers and concerned citizens.

Where?
All across the state. Local organizers will huddle up at the same time, but in different cities, towns and neighborhoods. The keynote will be delivered to all events online.

How?

Organizations are welcome to set up their own huddles. Some huddles will be as small as a few friends in their dining room, others will be large public gatherings. To find your local huddle or organize one, contact us at wrench.wisconsin@gmail.com.

Why?

This election cycle thousands of people across Wisconsin mobilized to demand universal affordable healthcare, campaign and election reform, increased taxes on the ultra-wealthy, education funding, childcare funding, environmental protections, and most of all a government that stands up to corporations, billionaires, and tech companies.
Here in Wisconsin, we know politicians aren’t going to just give us what we need. We need to build together to wrench popular policies out of the government. WRENCH is an opportunity to meet other people and organizations who are ready to do that work.

Schedule

5:30: food, mingling
