Democratic Party of Milwaukee County is currently led by two very conservative, stagnant, old guard figures: Chris Sinicki and Dawn Martin. Under their “leadership” our county clocked the second lowest ratio of party members to Democrat voters in Wisconsin. Sinicki has gone hard after Democrats who don’t toe her conservative, pro-genocide line.

For most of us, civil war is too frightening to contemplate, let alone seriously prepare for. Instead, we organize against MAGA politically, culturally, and socially.

People are the power, and strong county parties are the engines that mobilize that power. That is why my campaign is so focused on ensuring county parties have the tools and infrastructure they need to better speak to voters in their area. - William Garcia

 I feel like some of us forgot that politicians are allowed to have bold ideas. I think I would take 10 Alex Browers over a Cavalier Johnson, a man whose only ideas include conceding to Republicans, enriching his corporate backers and rich friends, and vilifying Milwaukee’s most vulnerable people.

Wisconsin’s business elites have been buying SCOWI races for going on two decades. Digging into that history we see that conservatives use obviously corrupt, physically violent, and blatantly racist means to push their agenda. Defeating Schimel is not just about defeating Musk and Trump, it’s not just about returning rule of law and democracy to Wisconsin, it’s about taking the government away from Wisconsin’s own wealthy elites after decades of minority rule.
