MJF are directly funding the genocide of Palestinians (having given over $400,000) and are clearly trying to hide this funding, and we must shine a light on it. State Senators should be aware that MJF is not some innocent organization. They are supporters of an increasingly far-right and fascist government with a long and escalating history of committing genocide against Palestinian people.

Taking money from J Street is not the political liability that taking money from AIPAC is, but… Neither organization would tolerate a Senator that they financed proposing a reduction of aid to the state of Israel.

But the IHRA legislation conflates antisemitism with the state of Israel. Seven of its 11 examples of “antisemitism” specifically reference Israel. And while the Federation claims that the definition does not limit free speech, in truth there are real life examples we can point to where it is being used to penalize individuals calling out Israel for the genocide it is committing.

As the fall-out of the election unfurls upon us, we must remember that it was pro-genocide Zionists who helped cement Harris’ position as a status-quo politician.
