Are you interested in defending the working class against politics as usual? Do you want to combat corporate sleaze and corruption? Running for county board is an achievable and powerful way to do it, but you have to act fast!

Candidates who authentically stand for policies that clearly benefit voters can generate organic excitement. They inspire people to turn out, to volunteer, and enthusiastically chatter with friends and family. Bold candidates make elections fun, not annoying. An exciting candidate does not need a massive treasury.

Public confidence cannot be rebuilt through assurances that outpace the evidence. Lead safety is established through rigorous testing, routine monitoring, transparency, and independent verification, not deadlines or declarations.

Mandela Barnes is the shining example of Democrats inability to learn anything. The best case scenario for a Barnes candidacy is that he becomes a lightning rod for discussing how centrists have enabled fascists to gain power in this present moment.

In the US, the Democratic Party is the only political vehicle situated to challenge Trump in the midterms, but it is also controlled by the only people inept, sycophantic, heartless, and unpopular enough to lose against him. This is a very stupid situation.

We can be stronger than spineless politicians. We can arm ourselves with knowledge and skills needed to make way for another world that is still possible, where AI is strictly regulated, the environment is protected, and people’s lives are put before billionaires’ profits.
